the Main House

We have also hired another handyman, David G., to do some work on the main house. His first task was to finish the windows Jimmy and Lou replaced over the years. Trim them out and caulk it all nice. He did this on Monday the 9th, then spent the 10th through 12th pressure washing and caulking and patching and fixing some of the unfinished work that our crappy soffit guy left us with. Next week he will start painting!

Wednesday & Thursday

Scott and Jimmy (not Rice) worked on the soffit & fascia project. They replaced most of it, leaving Olive's corner as it has always been. She guarded her perch for the week and did remarkably well considering the nail gun/compressor noises.

Phase 4: New Soffit, Fascia & Molding

Today we started another project: replacing the rotten soffit and fascia wood around the house, as a prelude to gutters.... Scott on mitre saw.
